Catalogue Management in OnixFeed
Catalogue Management is for publisher-scoped cleanup: Series and Custom subjects. Each tab has a list of existing records and a Bulk editor that assigns or removes them by ISBN.
You need Edit catalogue. Open Catalogue Management in the sidebar.
Choose a publisher
Pick the publisher at the top of the page. Tools apply to that imprint only.
Series
Use the Series tab to review series records for the selected publisher, fix naming, and attach or detach titles. Use this after an import that created duplicate or empty series.
Custom subjects
Use the Custom subjects tab (URL ?tab=custom-subjects) for publisher-specific categories that are not Thema. You can also manage custom subjects from Books with bulk Manage Custom Subjects.
Administrators can jump here from the Admin Dashboard (Catalogue - Custom subjects).
Bulk editor (two steps)
Both tabs include a Bulk editor at the bottom. It is a two-part process: find the books first, then apply (or remove) series or categories. You cannot apply until lookup has found at least one title.
Step 1 - Look up ISBNs
- Paste ISBNs (commas, spaces, or new lines).
- Click Look up ISBNs.
- Check Found and Not found. Only found books on this publisher go through to step 2.
Lookup is scoped to the publisher you selected. A missing ISBN usually means the title is under another publisher name - see Publishers.
Step 2 - Apply or remove
- Tick the series (Series tab) or custom subjects (Custom subjects tab) to use. On Custom subjects you can also add a New category first.
- Leave the default to assign, or tick Remove selected … from found books.
- Click Apply to found books or Remove from found books.
The result tells you how many books were updated. Review a few titles in Books if you are doing a large batch.
